V4.1 Release Notes
This article covers everything included in the Pargo 4.1 release, with details on what changed, why it matters, and what to expect.
Release version: 4.1 Release date: August 12, 2026
New Features
POI Data Display
See Demo Here | POI Data Display
What's new: ParGo now includes POI (points-of-interest) data, giving you a way to search and browse named places, such as retail brands, offices, and other points of interest, directly inside the app.
Why it matters: Finding parcels near a specific brand or place used to mean building your own reference layer first. Now you can search by a known brand or location directly, or browse a dedicated "US Places" layer, with no extra setup required.
What to expect:
- Use the AI Advisor (for pro users) to search directly by brand or named location, for example "find vacant commercial parcels within 1 mile of a Walmart location," with no layers or points required first.
- Turn on the new US Places layer to see a variety of shops, offices, and other points of interest on the map.
- Use layer filters to narrow the US Places layer down to specific named places, brands, or common categories, such as showing only Extra Space Storage locations.
Select Parcels for AI Tool
See Demo Here | Select Parcels for AI
What's new: A dedicated tool for selecting multiple parcels directly on the map without first running a query or building a results list, then handing that selection to the AI for analysis.
Why it matters: Working with a handful of specific parcels used to mean running a query or manually building a results list first. Now you can click the parcels you want and go straight to analysis.
What to expect:
- Activate the tool from the sidebar, then click parcels directly on the map to select them.
- Choose "Ask AI" to move your selection into the Select Parcels for AI Tool.
- Use the selected parcels button to view, manage, and verify every parcel in your selection.
- With a selection active, create an assemblage and get back a short assemblage report.
- Compare your selected parcels generally, or ask for a comparison on specific details.
- Extract ownership, financial, permit, or other parcel details across every selected parcel at once.
Portfolio Profile
See Demo Here | Property Portfolio
What's new: Every results list can now generate a Portfolio Profile, a snapshot of key metrics across the entire list.
Why it matters: Understanding the makeup of a large results list used to mean exporting it and building your own summary elsewhere. Now the key metrics are generated for you inside ParGo, along with an AI-written narrative you can take with you.
What to expect:
- View distribution of total parcel value, median household income, zoning type, property use group, city, state, and ownership across the list.
- Review area demographics using block group averages.
- Generate an AI narrative summary of these metrics and distributions, presented as a buttoned up summary.
- Copy the narrative summary out of ParGo as a standalone artifact.
Shapefile & KMZ/KML Import
What's new: ParGo now accepts Esri Shapefiles (.shp), KMZ files, and KML files as import sources, in addition to previously supported formats.
Why it matters: Bringing in parcel boundaries, custom layers, or spatial data from other GIS tools like Google Earth used to require converting the file to a supported format first. Now you can import these files directly.
What to expect:
- Import Shapefiles directly into ParGo without a conversion step.
- Import KMZ or KML files exported from Google Earth or similar GIS tools.
Enhancements
Parcel Assemblage Reports
What's new: Continued refinements to Multi-Parcel Assemblage, including a new exportable report and improved AI-assisted assembly accuracy.
Why it matters: These changes make assemblages more accurate to build and easier to share once you're done.
What to expect:
- Export a completed Parcel Assemblage Report out of ParGo as a detailed report.
- Owner mismatch flagging now covers more cases, not just missing owners.
- Building square footage sourced from data is now more clearly distinguished from calculated square footage.
- Segment and annotation data are now linked to their associated parcel.
- Interior and shared boundary lines are excluded as valid snap targets and annotation points.
ParGo Pipeline Enhancements
What's new: Several improvements to how you work with parcels inside Pipeline.
Why it matters: These changes reduce manual work when you need to act on several parcels at once or connect a mailbox for outreach.
What to expect:
- Multi-select parcels, the same interaction used for adding parcels to Pipeline, and apply bulk actions: archive, send email, or send text message.
- Send bulk emails and texts to addresses and phone numbers you provide directly, not just contacts already on file for a parcel.
- Connect Pipeline email natively to Gmail and Google Workspace, Outlook and Microsoft 365, custom domains hosted by Google or Microsoft, or any other provider supporting authenticated SMTP.
- Cancel an in-progress DROP request using the new kill control.
Export Engine Enhancements
What's new: Updates to how export results display and save.
Why it matters: Export results are easier to interpret at a glance, and your work is no longer lost when you save and reopen a project.
What to expect:
- Export results use a consistent color system: Selected (green outline), Meets Criteria (orange outline), Removed (red fill, low opacity, red outline), and a distinct treatment for Added by You / Enriched.
- Enriched, Added by You, and Removed statuses now correctly persist when a project is saved and reopened.
- When saving a Results List, Added by You and Enriched parcels merge into the Meets Criteria list as a single combined list.
Global Favorites
What's new: The Favorite button now works consistently everywhere in the app, including inside saved Projects.
Why it matters: Favoriting was previously unreliable and didn't persist correctly, so items you favorited didn't always stay favorited.
What to expect: Favorite any parcel from anywhere in ParGo, including inside a saved Project, and expect it to stay favorited.
Fixes
- Parcel measurements made with the shape measurement tool can now be saved.
- Overlapping detail panels no longer stack when multiple map layers with embedded details are toggled on.
- ArcGIS-provided layer detail panels, and occasionally parcel detail panels, can now be moved on screen.
- Removed the Teams placeholder page until ParGo Enterprise is fully available.
- Standardized date formatting across the app (e.g., "Aug 20th, 2026").
